PRS Announces first Global Advisory Board Member
With over two decades of global project experience, Ann-Marie boasts a strong technical background in sustainability consulting, having worked for 11 years with architectural consultants Arup Associates. Prior to this, Ann Marie led her own sustainability consulting business in New York.
PRS was founded in 2020 to transform the way we manage airborne pathogens and has become an emerging player in the dynamic field of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) management, a field energised most recently by the pandemic, but also by a growing market awareness of risks that airborne pathogens pose in indoor spaces.
PRS’ proprietary patent pending solution employs ultraviolet light (UVC), a widely accepted application for sterilising generally static surfaces over long durations. What differentiates PRS, is firstly its capability to inactivate airborne pathogens in a single pass of moving air when the transit time is measured in a fraction of a second and unparalleled world class efficacy testing.
PRS is now scientifically proven to handle viruses and bacteria that are far tougher to ‘kill’ than SARS-CoV-2 such as MRSA, measles, TB and also moulds like Aspergillus Niger.
Furthermore, PRS provides enhanced and sustained economic and environmental benefits through significantly reducing building energy costs and carbon footprints, giving PRS a meaningful role within any ESG strategy. PRS are in consultation with several global real estate companies, health providers and indoor agriculture operators who see the long-term benefits of this technology across their portfolios and is said by many to be a ‘game-changer’ for the real estate industry.
CEO and Co-founder of PRS, Ian Sinclair commented, “With a focus on human health and well-being, environmental sustainability and attractive economic returns, our innovative technology stands head and shoulders above any other anti-airborne pathogen solution available today. We’re delighted to have Ann Marie’s expertise and passion for sustainability and well-being as part of our Advisory Board as we continue to advance solutions for improved air quality for all.”
Ann Marie said of her appointment, “I am honoured be joining the PRS Advisory Board at a time when reduced energy consumption and improved air quality are the watchwords for mitigating climate change and improving human health. Our shared goal is to accelerate the path for people-first places that can support the health of millions of people now, and in the future. It’s an exciting time.”
Further appointees to the Global Advisory Board are expected in the coming months.
