PRS Performs at Cleantech Open Awards
Following on from our recent BESA awards we are happy to reveal that we have been recognised at the US-based Cleantech Open Global Forum, where we have been named Runner Up in the Global Ideas Pitch Competition. Attending from PRS were two of our Founding Partners Ian Sinclair CEO, Rob McCullough, Chief Science Officer, and Chair Jeff Ott.
A pleased Ian Sinclair commented:
“We send out heartfelt thanks to the Cleantech Open team in the USA for their kindness and support. They are truly wonderful people making a difference. We will continue to put People, Planet, and Performance first. We can breathe easier together!“
Cleantech Open, San Jose Convention Center, CA,
The Cleantech Open is the world’s largest clean technology accelerator program. Since 2005, they have worked with over 2,000 early stage cleantech innovators, helping them develop their business models, engage investors and secure first customers. Each year, over 100 companies participate in one of the Cleantech Open US, Global Climate Innovation or Global Ideas programs. Once a year, the best innovators from across these programs come together in celebration of their progress and impact in creating an inclusive green global economy.
This recognition is particularly powerful when we consider the competition we were up against. We came second to CEA Liten, a well-funded business of 20 years standing, that specialises in fuel cell technology for vehicle batteries. It is part of the French Alternative Energies & Atomic Energy Commission, essentially a government agency, so this award recognition demonstrates just how far PRS has come, and how important our technology will be.
