PRS Technology wins BESA Awards

We are pleased to report that we have won two BESA Awards in conjunction with Farmwood M&E Services Ltd. Our system won the New Product & Technology award and also featured in the Project of the Year, the PRS pilot installation in Canary Wharf, managed by Farmwood.
Reflecting on the double award win last week, Nathan Wood, MD of Farmwood said:
“We are incredibly honoured to have won this prestigious award in collaboration with Pathogen Reduction Solutions. Working with the talented team has been an amazing experience as they lead the global effort to improve indoor air quality and occupant health. Their commitment to open collaboration and their vision of leaving behind a legacy of healthier, net-zero buildings is truly inspiring.
It’s an absolute privilege to see how far we’ve come together and to be recognised as multi-award winners at the Building Engineering Services Association National Awards 2024.”

For the Project of the Year award BESA’s statement read: This comprehensive approach addresses the challenges of improving IAQ in commercial spaces, combining technical innovation with practical experience and sets a benchmark for the industry to follow.
The third-party testing at our pilot project confirmed our effectiveness in pathogen reduction. When compared to the control floor below our system reduced bacteria and mould exposures by 97% and 93%. Testing during the same period for Total Volatile Organic Chemicals (TVOCs) indicated 63% and 81% reductions against the control.
